Eco-friendly hotel in Saint Jean de Monts

Since taking over the hotel in 2024, our ambition has been to minimize the impact of our business on the natural environment. We are therefore committed to taking concrete and sustainable actions every day in the management of water, waste, and energy, and in support of biodiversity. Because Saint Jean de Monts encompasses the coastline, the marshland, and the forest. Because these environments, which represent 80% of the territory, are fragile. Because Saint Jean de Monts also boasts the largest tourist accommodation capacity on France's Atlantic coast, with its population increasing tenfold in the summer. Waste Reduction and Management

We don't print brochures to promote the hotel and try to digitize most of our communications to reduce paper, ink, and postage...

We choose second-hand furniture, decorative items, and professional equipment whenever possible.

We regularly collect the waste left by the tides on the beach. We go for walks with a bag or bucket and gloves.

Water Consumption Management

We have implemented a protocol for detecting potential leaks.

In your bathroom, you will find an hourglass to help you control the duration of your shower and limit water consumption...

We equip each room and suite with a glass carafe. This allows you to drink tap water and reduce plastic waste.

Energy Consumption Management

We have decided to operate the hotel seasonally. This 1925 building is not designed for winter temperatures. We close the hotel from November to March.

Reduced Greenhouse Gases

We have created a new special offer: the Green Offer. Travelers who visit us by coach will have their ticket reimbursed, up to 10% of the total cost of their stay.

Biodiversity

We use natural or eco-labeled cleaning products.

We plant local plant species that require little watering.

We have banned pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and herbicides.
